Hair Battle Kicks Off Open House Event at Tucson Beauty School!

The North Tucson Empire Beauty School celebrated the decades in conjunction with their 100 Days of Empire Open House Event - even holding a “battle of the decades” competition for guests to enjoy.
Students were paired up to compete against one another working on makeup, hair, nails, and costume for their models. The “model” students then put on a fashion show for the judges who were two recent alumni of the school and a few local salon managers. The winners of the competition were given certificates of achievement.
There were also raffle prizes that consisted of baskets of skin and hair product. The school also presented and donated a check to the local Emerge! domestic violence shelter in the amount of $405.00.
