Standale Beauty School Hosts Event, Donates Funds to Women's Shelter

The Standale Empire Education Group School hosted their 100 Days of Empire event and also donated $999.43 to their local adopted domestic violence shelter, Safe Haven Ministries. The shelter was so appreciative of the donation and thanked the students for all their hard work and time in helping raise the money. They shelter representative also spoke to the students about the shelter’s program and how the money was going to help the shelter. The students were happy that they contributed towards such a good cause. The new students were happy to know that we are going to have another National Day of Beauty event this October. The students also said they felt informed about the shelter now and they said the representative was very grateful.
The Standale school also hosted a Hollywood-theme event with a red carpet, stars hanging from the ceiling, lights, camera, and action cutouts. There was also a red carpet competition that day where students created their favorite hair, makeup and fashion of a Hollywood star and showed it off by walking down the red carpet. There were 24 students who participated in the competition. The event and the whole day’s celebration went well and the students were very enthusiastic about the open house.
