Lawrenceville School Enjoys 100 Days Stop
January 20, 2010
An enthusiastic student body and staff kicked off an exciting event at the Lawrenceville campus on
Wednesday. The highlight of the event was a “skit/poetry reading” that the class of Cosmetology Educator Mrs. Dunham put on showing their love of Empire and how Empire has helped changed their lives.
The reading was done by Brittany Clayborne. That was immediately followed by a special check presentation to a local shelter, Partnership Against Domestic Violence for over $1300. Ms. Jeannette Soto, Director of the Center, was there
to receive the check and had some very kind words for the school and the students.
During the day, complimentary haircuts and manicures were offered. Guests mingled, met with Career Planning Specialists, toured the campus and enjoyed cupcakes, sandwiches, drinks and the ever popular chocolate fountain with assorted fruits. Fun was had by all that participated.
